In the December Chairman’s Update, NAHB Chairman Chuck Fowke provides some good news to members regarding builder confidence, as measured by the NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index. For the third month in a row, builders stated their confidence in the industry, as consumer demand remains high even in the face of supply chain and affordability challenges.

Fowke also gives members an update on NAHB’s response to the OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard for COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
