The Senate voted today 66-34 to confirm Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) as secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“NAHB applauds the Senate confirmation of Marcia Fudge as the next secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development,” said NAHB Chairman Chuck Fowke. “We look forward to working with her to address the urgent needs associated with the current COVID-19 pandemic while continuing to advance HUD’s mission of promoting affordable homeownership and rental housing opportunities for all Americans.
