IBSx Virtual Experience Starts Today

Update: Unfortunately, we are experiencing technical difficulties that are affecting users’ experiences on the IBSx platform. We are working diligently to fix the issues. We will email attendees once the issues are resolved and the site is functioning as expected.

The IBSx Virtual Experience kicks off this morning with four action-packed days of new products from top companies, demonstrations, more than 100 education sessions and a variety of networking opportunities.

The exhibit hall will be open be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. ET today through Thursday, and from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday. Plus, you’ll be able to visit all of the KBIS exhibits from the IBSx platform.

Mike RoweThe Opening Ceremonies begin at 11 a.m. ET featuring Mike Rowe, best known as the “dirtiest man on TV,” a title earned on the hit TV series Dirty Jobs, who will talk about the importance of getting the next generation involved in the building industry. As the leading advocate for skilled labor in the country and the CEO of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that debunks myths and misperceptions about the trades and helps close the skills gap, his foundation has granted millions of dollars in work ethic scholarships.

It’s easy to  get started — just head over to the IBSx platform and login with your registration credentials. It will be helpful to take some time getting familiar with the platform and start planning your show. Visit your dashboard by clicking on your initials in the upper right-hand corner. Your dashboard gives you a quick glance of what’s available to explore and allows you to keep track of what you’re interested in doing by “favoriting” events or add items directly to your calendar. Don’t forget to fill out your profile.

After spending some time in the exhibit hall, be sure to take advantage of daily networking opportunities with Shop Talks. These live, interactive facilitated small group conversations are dedicated to niche audiences and specific topic idea exchange. See the topics and plan which ones you’ll join.
