From zoning commissions to taxes, elected officials at all levels play a role in shaping the housing industry and small businesses. As business leaders, it is vital that you vote on Nov. 3 because the outlook of housing industry depends on it.

In this critical election year, it is important to elect pro-housing, pro-business candidates to Congress in order to ensure that the housing and economic recovery continues to move forward. NAHB endorses candidates who have shown a commitment to policies that promote homeownership and rental housing opportunities for all Americans. Find out who the association is endorsing in your state or congressional district on NAHB's Election page.

NAHB has several resources for members to learn more about the upcoming election and to help encourage housing industry stakeholders to vote. Members can download the Home Builders Have a Powerful Voice and Being a Home Builder is Hard, Voting is Easy videos to share on websites or on social media using the hashtag #2020elections. Also available is an interactive U.S. map that allows users to learn about absentee ballot information and deadlines in their state.
