Filed in IBS, Sustainability and Green Building by on February 12, 2019 0 Comments

The popular Green Banter & Beer event returns to the International Builders’ Show (IBS) this year. Join us at the High Performance Building Zone in the North Hall, Booths N135 and N145 for Young Professionals – You Can Go Your OWN Way on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 3:30 p.m.

Update: Catch the replay on Twitter.

Five young industry professionals who have forged their own path, outside of the traditional career path, will share their journeys. What does it take to be out on your own? How are they making it work in the 21st century marketplace? And how have they successfully woven threads of green building and sustainability into their business?

Stop by the Zone, grab a beer and listen to these building industry professionals detail their experiences, from founding a personal business to building a social media brand to taking over the reins of the family company. Ask questions and find out what advice they have for others who are thinking about striking out on their own.

The event is open to all IBS registrants — no additional registration needed. (Can’t make it? Watch the Twitter livestream through @NAHB_Green with your own tasty beverage or catch the replay here.)
