kitchen counterMany design concepts today focus on aging-in-place consumers and state-of-the-art technology. But while the two can typically co-exist, they don’t always collaborate.

The webinar Smart Kitchens and Baths for Easier Aging in Place, which takes place Thursday, March 22 from 2-3 p.m., explores how to keep this growing customer base safe and connected in their homes.

From integrated medication dispensers to appliance lifts in the kitchen, the webinar will focus on design ideas for clients who would like to remain in their homes as long as possible by:

  • Examining smart-technology strategies for aging in place
  • Reviewing senior smart-technology industry trends and demographics
  • Discussing ideas and integrated solutions for the aging-in-place builder

Registration is open until 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 21. NAHB Education offers one hour of continuing education credits upon completion of this webinar for these 12 designations: CAPS, CGA, CGB, CGP, CGR, CMP, CSP, GMB, GMR, Master CGP, Master CSP, MIRM.

For questions about registration, please email Sheila Coble or call 800-368-5242, x8057.
