Oklahoma City Builders ‘Street of Dreams’ Reaps Benefits

The Central Oklahoma HBA pulled off its first-ever single-site parade in October with its Street of Dreams, at which seven high-end custom projects opened for tours over the course of two weeks. Visitors paid $20 to tour the homes and take part in special events from food truck block parties to Halloween candy giveaways. As a result, the HBA was able to donate more than $20,000 to the local elementary school, most of which will be used for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) materials – that might very well help prepare a few more future home builders. “We were just thrilled we were able to do that,” said EO Rusty Appleton.
