The production company behind HGTV’s popular “Property Brothers” show is seeking a home builder to host a brand-new program about residential construction practices around the world.

Adventures in Construction “follows the builder host as he criss-crosses continents to remote locations that are under constant threat of natural disaster and extreme weather, and joins the local builders for the hands-on experience of seeing what, why and how these people construct Mother Nature proof homes,” said the new show’s casting director, Sue Skinner.

The show’s producers are looking for a host with the following qualifications:

  • A professional residential builder or contractor – ranging in age from 30’s to 50’s.
  • Expertise and knowledge in disaster-resilient home construction
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing: “A Mike Rowe or Anthony Bourdain of home construction,” she said.
  • An insatiable curiosity for home construction around the world.

Interested? Contact the producer by July 1 with a photo and resume and throw your hat into the ring.
