Nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 NAHB Educator of the Year award.

Every year, the association honors quality instructors who promote and contribute to the growth of NAHB professional designations. The Educator of the Year award highlights the value of education and the role instructors play in the overall success of these designation programs.

Candidates must:

  • Teach at least four NAHB courses between Sept. 30, 2013–Sept. 30, 2015
  • Achieve an instructor rating of 4.5 or higher for all courses taught during that time period
  • Be in good standing with an active designation
  • Showcase innovative practices to promote NAHB designations within the industry, HBAs,  consumers and community programs

Nominations may be made by any HBA with an education license, students, designation holders and fellow  instructors. Self-nominations are accepted for this award.

All applications must be received by Sept. 15.  Awards will be presented during the Designation Achievement Reception on Jan. 18, 2016 at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas. Contact Bill Baum to learn more.
