armybootsandflagProviding decent, safe and affordable housing for America’s veteran population is critical, but it can come with challenges.

Housing experts Reggie Johnson, vice president of asset management for the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, and David Pressly, president of Pressly Development Company, Inc., in Statesville, N.C., will primarily focus on financing opportunities for veterans, and in particular, the requirements and process necessary to apply for the HUD Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program.

The speakers also will discuss strategies for providing veterans with housing when VASH is unavailable, support services that are often provided with veterans’ housing, and the vital role of a well-trained, engaged management staff.

The webinar will be held on Dec. 4 from 2-3 p.m. EST. Register here.

I am interested in participating. In the past it seemed impossible to financially afford to perform this great humanitarian work.
