A state-of-the-art Concept Kitchen featuring innovations in appliances, cabinetry, countertops, flooring and plumbing will debut as part of Design and Construction Week during the 2015 NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas Jan. 20-22.

“We want show attendees to see what really good design can do and what a difference it can make,” said NAHB’s Lynn Margiotta, who is working with representatives from the National Kitchen and Bath Industry – the association’s partners in this annual event – to make the Concept Kitchen showcase a success.

Event organizers have lined up Bethesda, Md., design-build specialist Jonas Carnemark to create the 340-square-foot space in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Thermador and Fabuwood will showcase the latest in kitchen appliances and cabinetry, while Caesarstone product will be used on the countertops and other surfaces. Brizo, a boutique brand from Masco, will provide faucets and other fixtures. Flooring will be provided by both Mohawk and Daltile and the cabinetry hardware will be supplied by Berenson Hardware.

The idea is to see how sustainability and high performance, resource conservation and universal design can result in a high-tech, beautiful and very innovative kitchen of the future.

Home builders, remodelers and other show attendees can tour the Concept Kitchen on their way to visit exhibitors on the show floor or after attending educational sessions.
