NLRB Restores Obama-Era Joint Employer Standard

The National Labor Relations Board today effectively reinstated the Obama-era joint employer standard. The stunning reversal came after it was determined that board member William Emanuel had a conflict of interest when he voted with the 3-2 majority last December to overturn the 2015 ruling in the case of Browning-Ferris Industries that radically expanded the traditional definition for joint employer status.
