International Builders’ Show

At an International Builders’ Show seminar in Orlando earlier this month, Brian Hall, vice president of construction at Charlotte, N.C.-based Classica Homes, outlined four steps his firm has taken to ensure it is the “builder of choice” in its local market.

NAHB named 14 winners for the 11th annual NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) for their commitment to strong safety programs. The winners were recognized at the SAFE awards reception held during the International Builders’ Show in Orlando.
Exhibit space was expanded this year to make room for more vendors at this year’s show. About 80,000 home builders, remodelers, developers, designers and their trade partners networked with one another and witnessed countless demonstrations from leading suppliers during a show that spanned throughout the Orange County Convention Center.
There were 127 single-family, multifamily, remodeling and community projects honored at the 2016 Best in American Living Awards(BALA) ceremony Wednesday night at the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla. That means there were 127 examples of the top design trends that home buyers will expect to see over the next several years in your building and remodeling projects.
