Builder confidence in the single-family 55+ housing market remained strong in the fourth quarter of 2015 with a reading of 61, up one point from the previous quarter, according to the NAHB 55+ Housing Market Index, released today. This is the seventh consecutive quarter with a reading above 50.

NAHB has announced the finalists for its 2016 Best of 55+ Housing Awards, the premier design and marketing competition for the 55+ housing industry. A total of 87 entries were chosen as finalists and are eligible for either a gold or silver award from NAHB’s 55+ Housing Industry Council, which will be announced at an awards ceremony on Jan. 19, 2016, during the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
