Looking for innovative ideas for your next project? Join the IBSx Virtual Experience for an opportunity to tour Professional Builder’s Show Village 2021.

The village comprises three different homes, set up as a virtual cul-de-sac, that each focus on key trends for the year ahead: clean, healthy indoor environments; stress reduction and rejuvenation; and reflections of consumer lifestyle research.

Features for each include:

  • The Healthy/Clean Home: Designed to address the increased interest in indoor air quality and healthier homes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this home includes advanced HEPA filtration, active radon mitigation, and a balanced ventilation system that has a continuous exhaust air unit and a filtered fresh air supply fan. Optional features include a wireless, automated indoor air quality control system, touchless faucets, a humidifier tied into the home’s integrated indoor comfort system, and an active radon monitoring system to supplement the builder’s standard radon mitigation system.
  • The Thoughtful Home: Comparable to the soothing nature of the 2021 color trends, this home’s floor plan promotes rejuvenation and relaxation through multifunctional spaces that can adapt to a number of uses, ample storage for supplies, and transition areas to welcome residents home. Bedrooms incorporate individual temperature controls, air filtration, and complete darkness to enhance sleep.
  • The New New Home: Utilizing consumer research to develop a home that meets the needs of today’s home owner in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, this home emphasizes safety, health and the ability to telecommute — especially when multiple residents need to be working or learning remotely. In addition to private interior spaces — such as built-in learning stations in private bedrooms and functional office spaces — the home also features a multifunctional casita for more remote work space, guest quarters or just a relaxation spot.

IBSx attendees will have an opportunity to take a digital tour of each home — either self-guided or with a digital guide — to learn more about the homes and the products included.

I am interested in Age-In-Place new construction for seniors. Boomers DO NOT want to move into Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Intermediate Care – and most certainly not into Skilled Nursing Homes.
