Registration Open for the 2021 NAHB Student Competition

Registration is now open for NAHB Student Chapter members for the annual Student Competition. Usually held at the International Builders’ Show, this year in light of COVID-19 and school travel restrictions, the 2021 competition will be conducted virtually. The virtual competition provides an opportunity for more teams to participate because travel is not required and expenses are limited to the competition registration fee.

For nearly three decades, this national competition has given thousands of high school and college students the opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to a real construction management project or proposal.

Webinars to help explain the competition process will be held this fall for students and coaches and — new this year — best practices for on-camera presentations. For additional information about the webinars and competition format, contact Sarah Weber.

As a part of Careers in Construction Month in October, NAHB is participating in a national campaign to raise public awareness about the jobs available in the home building and related trade professions.
