Check out these video highlights from the NAHB Board of Directors meeting and the annual Meeting of the Members, which took place in February at the International Builders’ Show.

During the Meeting of the Members, 2018 NAHB Chairman Randy Noel explained how NAHB efforts on behalf of members in 2018 will save builders $5,500 per housing start in 2019. Attendees also heard NAHB Chief Economist Rob Dietz discuss what the future holds for the housing market and the national economy.

The NAHB Board of Directors listened to Dr. Benjamin Carson, U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, as he sat down with Noel to answer questions and discuss the importance of housing to the American economy. Members also heard from the co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Problem Solvers Caucus, Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) and Tom Reed (R-N.Y.), discuss getting things done in Washington.

In addition to highlights from the election of NAHB’s 2019 Chairman, Greg Ugalde, and Third Vice Chair Jerry Konter, you can listen to 2018 Immediate Past Chairman Granger MacDonald reflect on “the journey of a lifetime.”

NAHB members must be logged into nahb.org to view the videos.

Plus, in case you missed it, you can hear NAHB CEO Jerry Howard and Chief Lobbyist Jim Tobin share their thoughts on these meetings on our new Housing Developments podcast, now available on iTunesSpotify, and Stitcher.
