Can’t-Miss Events for Young Building Pros at IBS

NAHB’s International Builders’ Show (IBS) is the premier event for those in the residential construction business — especially for the thousands of young building professionals who are the future of the industry.

If you’re a young building professional, there is no better place to be than this year’s builders’ show. The NAHB Young Professionals Committee has packed the IBS schedule with programming specifically tailored to the under-45 crowd.

The YP Committee will hold its official meeting on Monday, Feb. 18 at 4:30 p.m., followed immediately by the 2018 NAHB Young Professionals Award Reception. These events are a great opportunity to meet and greet all YP Committee members and get ready for the show to open.

When IBS formally kicks off on Tuesday, come by the NAHBNext Lounge at the NAHB HQ booth (N1739) for Social Recharging Hour every day at 1:30 p.m. Recharge your mind, body and phone with other young builders.

NAHB HQ also will host a number of educational sessions on topics ranging from the value of NAHB membership to using social media to advance your business and career.

And of course, there is the Young Pro Party, the featured after-hours event at IBS. This year, the party will be held at Hyde Nightclub in the Bellagio, one of the top clubs in America. It kicks off at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20. This is a premium, ticketed event. But the $40 ticket price includes an open bar.
