Inaugural Young Professionals Week Kicks Off Today

The NAHB Young Professionals Committee is excited to announce the inaugural Young Professionals Week Oct. 15-19, during Careers in Construction Month. Recruiting more young people into home building is a top priority, so it makes sense to feature the YP groups as resources for new builders.

This week is a great opportunity to highlight local YP groups and activities, activate the grassroots members to encourage local YP recruitment, and showcase the importance of membership and the positive impact that membership can have in the early stages of a home building career.

Membership provides an opportunity for young professionals to get involved in the industry and to learn from experienced members who have a wealth of knowledge that comes from a career-long commitment to home building.
