How Did You Engage with YP Week 2018?

The inaugural Young Professionals Week is concluding today, but not without a lot of activity from YPs across the country. If you haven’t already visited the NAHB YP Facebook Group page, check it out to see all the great things these building professionals are doing in their local areas.

A few highlights from the group on the week:

  • Careers in Construction Day on October 15 (#CICDay2018) highlighted the numerous and exciting career opportunities available in home building.
  • Former award winners were honored daily — from those who earned national and regional YP awards, to various One-to-Watch Award winners — attesting that there truly are some spectacular YPs out there.
  • Information was widely shared on how to recruit and engage new YP members. Notably, the YP Toolkit on helps local HBA staff and members create, build and engage a local YP group.

Don’t forget the deadline to apply for an NAHB Young Professionals Award is today, Oct. 19.
