Conference Offers Advanced Education on Land Development Issues

Eco friendly law, politics and eco balance concept.Registration is now open for the 2018 LANDS Housing Law CLE Roundtable & Workshop, NAHB’s annual continuing legal education program on land use and development issues affecting the home building industry. The conference will take place Oct. 25-26 at the National Housing Center in Washington, D.C.

Attorneys, housing industry professionals, and others involved in land development and environmental protection come from across the country to attend the cutting-edge, advanced-level education sessions and enjoy networking with a variety of leaders in the field.

Some of the featured topics on this year’s agenda include:

  • Self-Driving Cars, Electric Vehicles and Transportation on Demand
  • Fitting New Land Use Trends Into Old Regulations
  • Implications of Cannabis on the Zoning and Housing Industry
  • Regulatory Reform in the Trump Era

For less than the cost of competing CLE courses, registration for the LANDS workshop includes not only the CLE presentations, but onsite breakfast and lunch, and an offsite networking reception and dinner.
