Smartphone and checkmarkThe voting is now open on 17 Assembly Floor Motions from the 2018 Group A Committee Action Hearings that took place in Columbus, Ohio April 15-23.

All members of the International Code Council (ICC) can vote on the motions, meaning that any NAHB member who is also a member of the ICC is eligible.

NAHB’s Voting Guide for the Online Assembly Motion Vote can be found on nahb.org as well as the NAHB Advocacy App, which can be downloaded at either the Apple or the Google stores. All voting will be done through cdpACCESS, the ICC’s online voting tool.

The Online Assembly Motion Vote will close on Wednesday, May 23 at 2 a.m. PT. The results of the online vote will be included in the Report of the Committee Action Hearing scheduled to be released May 30.

A successful vote on an assembly motion – a simple majority – results in an automatic public comment to be considered at the Public Comment Hearings this fall, when the final votes are cast by ICC Governmental Members.
