stamp of approvalLow-income housing tax credit professionals sometimes do not have a clear idea about on verification requirements. Many believe that third-party verification is a federal requirement or that LIHTC properties must follow HUD’s verification requirements, including HUD’s definition of third-party verification.

But none of this thinking is necessarily correct. From 1-2 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 29, the webinar Understanding Verification Requirements for LIHTC will make clear what the eligibility requirements and recommendations are.

  • Identify the areas where stricter requirements may be needed to demonstrate due diligence and comply with state agency requirements.
