Chuck Fowke

For those of you who have not met me, please allow me to introduce myself.  I’m Chuck Fowke. I’m the owner and president of Homes by John C Fowke, a custom home building company my brother and I established in 1990. In those 27 years, our company has proudly provided custom homes throughout the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Never let good enough be good enough is a personal motto. I live that belief each and every day! I fully recognize that each of you have “CHOICES” to make about who you want to represent YOUR interest in housing in the coming years. Let me assure you that just being good enough will miss the mark. I strive for leadership excellence as a reputation, from the quality of homes my company builds to my decades-long dedication to the home building industry.

I’m an NAHB Senior Life Director, and currently serve as the NAHB National Area Chairman (NAC) of Area 5. I’m a member of the NAHB Executive Board and have served as the chair of the Federal Government Affairs Committee, Resolutions Committee, Audit Committee, Association Planning and Moderator of the NACs and have been a BUILD-PAC Trustee since 2006. I currently serve on the Budget and Finance Committee.

I have been privileged to receive the Florida Home Builders Eagle Award in 2012 and the Florida Home Builders prestigious Dick Baker Award in 2014. I’ve been recognized as the “Builder of the Year” by my local association in 2006 and 2009. I had the honor to serve as president of the Florida Home Builders Association in 2010.

Giving back to my community is a passion. I’ve served as chair of the Charity Women’s Crisis Center’s Addition and Renovation Committee, contributed as a sponsor with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Joshua House. I’ve served on the City of Tampa Hurricane Codes Committee, Florida Hurricane Codes Task Force, the Workers Compensation Task Force and the City of Tampa Citizens Review Board.

I’m married to Annalisa and together have a blended family of seven children.

I have a passion for this industry and our association. Together, we can move housing forward!
