A home builder in North Dakota is making sure families in his area can celebrate their Christmas a little brighter this year, with a Christmas tree.

Wade Vogel, owner of Premier Homes in Mandan and a member of the Bismarck-Mandan HBA in Bismarck has used social media to find area families that do not have a Christmas tree.

With the help of the Missouri Slope Areawide United Way, he plans to make sure that 50 of them do.

Vogel and his staff are shuttling around the community this week to deliver 50 pre-lighted Christmas trees with decorations.

“Christmas is a special time, a time of family and hope,” said Vogel. “As a builder, there is more to building a community than constructing walls and roofs. You have to build hope.”
