Here are the Nominees for the 2017 Associate Member Awards

The following individuals have been nominated by their peers for contributing to the strength of NAHB and the housing industry through leadership and professional excellence as part of the 2017 NAHB Associate Member Awards program.

The winners from among these standout nominees will be announced and honored during the Associates of Excellence Awards program at the 2018 NAHB International Builders’ Show.

Associate members of NAHB include professionals in the subcontracting and specialty trades; professional specialties such as accounting, architecture, engineering and legal services; financial services, retail dealers and distributors for such products as home appliances, building materials, and paint and wall coverings; and other activities such as manufacturing, project management, real estate and industry consultants.

The NAHB Associate of the Year Award recognizes an Associate member who distinguishes his or herself by their outstanding contributions to the home building industry on the local, state and national levels.

The NAHB BEAM (Builders Engaging Associate Members) Award is bestowed on one builder (or one local entity) who best exemplifies the motto “It’s good business to do business with a member,” by encouraging builders to use the goods and services offered by Associates.

The Bill Polley Advocate of BUILD-PAC Award recognizes an Associate member who epitomizes Polley’s ardent loyalty, support and dedication to NAHB’s political action committee, BUILD-PAC, working to raise BUILD-PAC dollars through peer-to-peer methods and also going above and beyond to help out on fundraising and educational events.

The Associates One to Watch Award recognizes a young Associate member who propels his or her career forward; advances in local, state and national NAHB associations; advocates for the home building industry; engages with peers; and embeds themselves as exceptional members of their communities.
