HomeAid Commemorates Homelessness Awareness Month

home aid logoThe 17 HomeAid America chapters nationwide have designated November as Homelessness Awareness Month, and the HBAs that partner with each chapter are ready to participate in fundraising and community service events to highlight the need to eradicate homelessness.

Each week in November, HomeAid will focus on the unique struggles of various homeless populations, which include youth, veterans, families, and the hungry and homeless.

“For the richest country in the world to allow so many to go unfed and unsheltered is a national tragedy, and one we can do something about,” said Peter Simons, CEO of HomeAid America.
