One of the best ways for Associate and Builder members to recognize each other for the outstanding commitments they make to the housing industry is with an NAHB Associates of Excellence Award.

The deadline to apply for these awards has been extended to Wednesday, Oct. 11. Please consider this opportunity to shine a light on the great work you and your colleagues are doing to support the home building industry.

  • Associate of the Year – Recognizes one associate member who has made outstanding contributions to their local, state and national HBAs and to the home building industry.
  • Bill Polley Advocate of BUILD-PAC – Recognizes an associate who has made diligent efforts for Build PAC.
  • Builders Engaging Associate Members (BEAM) – Recognizes builders who make an outstanding effort to do business with Associate members.
  • Associates One to Watch – Recognizes young industry professionals who propel their careers; advance in local, state and national NAHB associations; advocate for the home building industry; engage with peers and embed themselves as exceptional members of their communities.

Winners of all Associates awards will be announced at the Associates of Excellence Awards Lunch during the 2018 NAHB International Builders’ Show. You can purchase tickets for the program when registering for the Show by simply adding it to your special events prior to check out.

How do I nominate someone for associate of the Year? I cannot find forms on the website.
    Thank you.

    • NAHB Now says:

Hello Elizabeth, thanks for your question. For ease and clarity, we’ve updated the hyperlinks of the award titles in this story to go directly to the award submission forms instead of the individual description subpages. Let us know if you have any further questions.
