President Trump will nominate Pamela Patenaude as the new HUD Deputy Secretary, the White House announced today.

“NAHB commends the choice of Pamela Hughes Patenaude to become HUD deputy secretary,” said NAHB Chairman Granger MacDonald.

“NAHB has had the opportunity to work with her in the past on important housing issues during her time as president of the J. Ronald Terwilliger Foundation for America’s Families. We look forward to continuing this productive relationship with Ms. Patenaude to address the nation’s critical housing needs as she takes on a new leadership role at HUD.”

Patenaude has also served as director of the Bipartisan Policy Center Housing Commission. She earned her B.S. from Saint Anselm College and her Master of Science in Community Economic Development degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
