Meet Angela Harris, MIRM

March is National Designation Month, and NAHB is shining a spotlight on some of its successful graduates, like Angela Harris, MIRM, president and principal creative director of TRIO Environments in Denver.

“The [Master in Residential Marketing] designation provided me with a greater understanding of other disciplines in the industry; for example understanding how land deals are done, and how sales and marketing packages are created,” Angela said.

NAHB would like our members to know more about these successful designees – and perhaps find yet another reason to explore the NAHB Designations program.

Meet Angela:

What’s a favorite book you’ve read recently? E-Myth Mastery: The Seven Essential Disciplines for Building a World Class Company by Michael Gerber

When it comes to success, do you have any particular words or a quote that you try to live by?  “Start each day with a grateful heart.”

Give me three words to describe the industry in 2017. Exciting. Innovative. Fast-paced.

What industry trends are you most excited about?  New contemporary design, holistic approach, and bringing the outdoors in.

What is one industry issue that we really need to find the solution for? Labor shortage and construction defect laws.

Thank you, Angela. And thank you to all of our other successful designation holders.

Throughout the month, many of our HBAs have been recognizing their designees, as well. Check out this profile of Tracy Mitchell, CAPS, CGB, CGP, GMB, from the Dallas Builders Association.
