The NAHB Building Systems Councils  recognized its 2017 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design award recipients during the Building Systems Housing Summit held in late September.

For the first time in the councils’ history, the S.A. Walters Lifetime Achievement Award—the highest honor bestowed by the BSC—was awarded to an Associate member, Norm Hall, territory manager and factory-built structures industry manager for Simpson Strong-Tie.

Hall, a 30-year industry veteran, will also become the first Associate member to chair the BSC. He will officially take office in January at the 2017 International Builders’ Show in Orlando.
