Green Project Scoring Sheets Now Available

Now that the April unveiling of the 2015 ICC/ASHRAE National Green Building Standard is in the rearview mirror, home builders interested in checking out how it works have a new tool: green certification scoring sheets from the Home Innovation Research Labs, which accredits verifiers and certifies green projects.

Scoring sheets are available for new single-family and multifamily homes and also for residential land development projects.

No date has been set yet for “sunsetting” the 2012 version of the standard, and scoring sheets for the 2012 new construction, remodeling, land development and small projects are still available for download. If you are interested, you’ll need to fill out a form on Home Innovation’s website. The sheets cannot be altered, as they are authorized solely for certifying homes by Home Innovation.

You can also download the 2015 standard as a free e-book from BuilderBooks, NAHB’s publishing arm. The paperback version is also available for sale, and NAHB members enjoy a discount.
