NAHB, Houzz Form Alliance

NAHB has formed a strategic alliance with Houzz Inc., the online platform for home building, renovation and design, to help NAHB members use Houzz’s technology and marketing capabilities to connect with a community of 35 million users interested in building or renovating their homes

As part of the alliance, NAHB members in good standing can have membership badges added to their Houzz profiles. Houzz visitors can identify that they are working with NAHB members who have specialized expertise, many of whom have received additional education or professional designations from NAHB to further their proficiency.

“This strategic alliance will give our members more exposure as well as access to the technology and tools they need to succeed in the 21st century,” said NAHB Chairman Tom Woods in announcing the agreement.

NAHB members can visit the Houzz NAHB member portal to create or update their free professional profiles, which include their verified NAHB badge, as well as state and local association badges if those HBAs also have a Houzz page.   3. Wonderful news. We build in Illinois – where builders and developers are not licensed by the state. Anything that let’s us distinguish ourselves from our competition and that is consumer focused is greatly appreciated. We want NAHB membership and distinction to be a “must have” from and for consumers.

    Well done.
