NAHB today honored Chad Magleby, president of Magleby Construction in Lindon, Utah, as the Custom Home Builder of the Year. Sponsored by Sherwin-Williams and presented by the Custom Builders Committee, Magelby was honored at a luncheon today in Las Vegas during the NAHB International Builders’ Show.

Magleby Construction includes 10 divisions in Utah and Idaho including custom home building, commercial building and remodeling. Under Magleby’s leadership, the company has grown from $32 million in 2012 to an anticipated $58 million in 2015. The majority of the growth comes from three new divisions: Communities, Commercial Millwork and Sun Valley.

The company plays an integral role in architectural development and also works with strategic partners to create more concentrated high-end projects, such as The Residences at Stein Erickson, which will include 15 high-end Magelby custom homes, seven now under construction.

Magleby and his employees are active members of their local and state HBAs and NAHB, boasting three former local presidents, two NAHB national life directors and the current Utah state director. Magleby is also a frequent IBS speaker.

“Chad is man of integrity and has been an amazing supporter of our home builders association,” said Utah Valley HBA EO Steve Caldwell. “Chad and his employees put great pride and quality into their projects, and he and his company are very deserving of this award.”
