Josh Anderson and his team at Element Design Build are busy putting the finishing touches on the 2016 New American Home®. The home is sure to impress the thousands of housing industry professionals who tour the home during the International Builders’ Show in January.

The 5,280 square-foot desert-contemporary residence takes maximum advantage of Nevada’s great climate with easy flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. At the same time the home offers leading-edge energy efficiency. It is expected to achieve a number of green certifications, including:

  • National Green Building Standard – Emerald
  • US DOE Energy Star certified
  • LEED – Platinum
  • Southern Nevada Green Building Partnership
  • Water Smart Home program

One of NAHB’s most successful and visible programs, The New American Home is produced and presented by the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council and Professional Builder magazine. The New American Home is built to showcase the NAHB Leading Suppliers’ products and serves as the official showcase house of the annual International Builders’ Show (IBS).

This 33rd edition of The New American Home (TNAH), America’s premier show home and construction technology laboratory, offers real-world demonstrations of the latest concepts in architecture, construction methods, lifestyle trends and new products.

For builders, remodelers, architects, interior designers and other housing industry professionals TNAH provides an advance look at new products, design trends and construction technologies that will shape the industry in the coming years.
