Hot on the heels of announcing the certification of the 50,000th home to the ICC-700 National Green Building Standard (NGBS), the Home Innovations Research Lab is about to convene the next consensus committee meeting for the 2015 version of NGBS.

At this third session, members will discuss and then take action on all the public comments that have been submitted by home builders, trade associations, building officials, government experts, manufacturers and other stakeholders involved in the standard development process.

Developed by a committee led by NAHB, the International Code Council, and now ASHRAE, NGBS is now the leading green certification program for residential development.

The meeting takes place June 18-20 at the National Housing Center (NAHB’s headquarters) in Washington, D.C.
