NAHB Looking for a Few Good EOs

At the heart of every state and local HBA is a hard-working, dedicated individual who is committed to serving its members and bringing you value for your membership. That person is your executive officer.

For small associations, the EO may be the only full-time staff member. But no matter the association size, EOs undoubtedly work long – often thankless – hours to help their members’ businesses grow.

That is one of the reasons why NAHB recognizes four EOs each year with the Individual Awards presented through the Association Excellence Awards. Awards are presented in the categories of Career Achievement, New Executive Officer, Small Office Honor and Executive Officer of the Year.

NAHB is accepting nominations for the AEA individual awards through Friday, May 1. If your local EO deserves recognition, we encourage you to contact your HBA president or staff, who can facilitate the application process.

Winners of the 2014 AEA Awards will be announced in July. For more information about the awards, visit nahb.org/aea.
