Don’t miss your opportunity to attend the 71st annual International Builders’ Show – the building industry’s biggest event – for less. Register by Dec. 5 to get great education and the five exhibit floors of Design & Construction Week™(DCW) for the member price of $350.

So many additional exhibitors have signed up – more than 200 of the 1,300+ exhibitors are either brand new to the show or returning after a long absence – that planners have added 50,000 square feet to the show floor.

And what a show it is: Just about every NAHB committee and council has special events planned for the week, and already registration numbers are running about 20% ahead of the 2014 IBS.

Awards. IBS is the time to honor great homes, outstanding builders and excellent projects, and this year is no exception. You can honor sales and marketing excellence at The Nationals Gala, learn about outstanding safety programs at the SAFE Awards ceremony, meet outstanding educators and education designees at the Designation Achievement Reception, and celebrate with the industry’s most creative and innovative at the Best in American Living Awards.

Exhibits. The expanded show floor also allows room for special displays and exhibits, like the state of the art Concept Kitchen and the High-Performance Building Zone, back for the second year with the best of green building technology. And of course, everyone is excited to see what’s new with the 2015 New American Home, which will be open for tours throughout the show.

BuilderBooks is bringing its popular bookstore back to IBS with special discounts and giveaways. And the NAHB Member Advantage program wants to make sure everyone knows about the discounts available to members with cash drawings sponsored by Member Advantage participant GEICO. Need help with recruiting? You’ll get it in a series of membership workshops designed to grown your HBAs.

Classes.  NAHB Education is mixing it up more than ever, with popular stalwarts like the Super Sales Rally joined by new sessions like the Housing Finance Shark Tank. You’ll get excellent jobsite safety instruction, a better handle on building systems and work toward your NAHB educational designation with pre-show classes.  In-depth Master sessions also return to IBS in January and this year, you can reserve your seat ahead of time.

Centrals.  NAHB Councils are pulling out all the stops this year to attract more members by showcasing the advantages of belonging in their networking, education and have-a-snack-and-take-a-load-off Centrals. The 50+ Council is planning a Builders Summit, you can get your plans reviewed at the Design Studio, take a tour of new aging-in-place products with NAHB Remodelers, get great business advice at the 20 Club Central  and enjoy sweets and a seat with the Professional Women in Building.

Events. Get your tickets in advance for the Luxury Home Tour of high-production developments around Las Vegas: the event always sells out. Listen to ESPN analyst Jon Gruden at the opening ceremonies Tuesday morning, then kick up your heels at Tuesday night’s House Party. Meet your peers at the Young Professionals House Party. And of course, everyone is looking forward to seeing ZZ Top at the Spike Concert.

There’s more, of course. Bookmark the NAHB International Builders’ Show website and keep reading NAHBNow for updates. See you in Vegas next month!
